We order the boneless lamb roast from the butcher now, so that he has plenty of time to get it from his distributor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\"> \t<link itemprop=\"image\" href=\"https:\/\/pattiphillipsbooks.com\/kerriansnotebook\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IrishLambStewIMG_1218-300x199.jpg\" \/><span class=\"item ERName\">Kerrian&#8217;s Favorite Lamb Stew<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"ERClear\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Author: <span class=\"author\">Charlie Kerrian<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Cook time: <time itemprop=\"cookTime\" datetime=\"PT2H\">2 hours<\/time><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Total time: <time itemprop=\"totalTime\" datetime=\"PT2H\">2 hours<\/time><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Serves: <span class=\"yield\">4-6<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 Tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 1\/2 teaspoons sea salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 teaspoon onion powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 1\/4 pounds boneless leg of lamb, cut into one inch cubes<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tablespoon A-1 sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour from flour shaker<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 cups organic chicken broth<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup celery, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 cups baby carrots, peeled<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3-4 red bliss potatoes, peeled, cut into 2 inch chunks (about 2 cups)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup fresh green beans, trimmed, cut into 1-2 inch pieces<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Another Tablespoon flour if needed<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Optional: \u00bc cup barley (for an authentic Irish flavor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Use 4-6 quart pot with lid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Warm olive oil in pot over medium heat, add sea salt and onion powder, stir.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place lamb cubes in the oil and saut\u00e9 until brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Add Worcestershire and A-1 sauces and stir, coating the meat. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir, coating the meat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add organic chicken broth and celery and stir. Place lid on pot and cook until celery is translucent, about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add carrots and potatoes and stir. Add green beans and stir. (If adding barley, this is the time).<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Lower heat to low.
