Here are four books for your consideration that entertained me from first page to last.<\/span><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>\u201c<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Burning Eden<\/span>\u201d<\/strong> by Sarah Bewley &#8211; Overworked and understaffed, Sheriff Jim Sheppard has three murders to solve while wildfires burn throughout the county.\u00a0 A new doctor arrives in town and unwittingly becomes a factor in those murders. Bewley keeps us riveted in \u201cBurning Eden\u201d with a plot that delivers a surprise villain, a fabulous dog, and an annoying reporter as counterpoints to the wonderfully written, complex\u00a0 lead characters. A \u2018wow\u2019 ending has me hooked and looking forward to a return to Eden County in \u201cFrozen Eden.\u201d\u00a0 (Coming in July, 2024)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u201c<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>No Time for Murder<\/strong><\/span>\u201d by Bruce W. Most &#8211; busy guy helps out a persistent politician neighbor (wife of a recently deceased friend) just so he can get her off his back and meet his writing deadline.
