2025 was a great year for the Kerrian’s Notebook subscribers to win books. Winners were chosen randomly during quarterly drawings using random.org. The winners were then notified through Facebook and/or the email addresses they had provided. A list of at least ten books was sent to the winners, from which they picked their prize(s). The 14th Anniversary Drawing was first-come-first-serve, with fourteen books posted on Facebook. When people saw something they liked and picked it first, he/she won the book. Everyone on FB was eligible to win in that event.
The majority of the books continue to be mysteries, thrillers, and novels of suspense, in keeping with the Kerrian’s Notebook theme. My mission has always been to provide titles that readers might not otherwise have access to, or have an interest in trying. They were purchased at indie bookstores, brick & mortar chain bookstores, and a delightful gently-used-hardcover bookstore about 40 miles from here. Many of the books were stay-awake reads, many were bestsellers, some were passed along to other readers, and a couple became the focus of book clubs. Because of the participation of our Kerrian subscribers, we were able to give away 149 books in 2025, a record!
